I get asked a lot how I came up with my Potis , and the answer is, that just like every other artist, I’ve been searching, drawing , painting , experimenting a lot of things before finding my own identity.
But the day I found those guys, I knew immediately that they were the ones I was looking for.
This painting is a representation of that moment, when the Potis were brought up in this world.
But it’s also a message to all the artists still looking for their own style.
Don’t worry you will get there , just have fun, trust yourself and keep creating ❤️❤️❤️
The first time they met she asked if she could sit next to him, because this was the only spot in the sun.
After a while she became his one and only sun.
It was warm.
It was blinding.
It made the world disappear.
So he leaned closer.
Closer.
Until the light was all he could see.
He did not notice the sparks on his heart,
The quiet pieces of himself turning into flame.
When someone shines that bright,
We forget our own light.
And when the sun suddenly disappears,
When the warmth is gone and the days and nights feel endless,
He stands there, unsure of where to look.
Because by loving another sun too deeply,
He forgot he was one, too.
