Introducing HYPNOSIS, a Los Angeles–based techno collective devoted to the hypnotic and sensual dimensions of the genre, founded by @potion.la with support of @mamajmedia . Rooted in long-form DJ sets and immersive sonic environments, HYPNOSIS emphasizes sound and rhythm as a vehicle for altered perception, where repetition, texture, and subtle progression guide the listener into a state of temporal and spatial disorientation. Rejecting spectacle and ego-driven performance, the collective prioritizes atmosphere, intentional curation, and the embodied experience of the dancefloor. Our techno is not merely heard but felt. It’s an evolving continuum of sound designed to dissolve boundaries between individual and collective movement, and ultimately, to lose track of space and time.
