Creating a magic space of sharing, gathering and pure presence through language in all its forms is the beauty of @postmortemissue project. Invited by @eanna_studio_ for their « Mémoires et identités » exhibition, we curated something around our so-called "swana" identities, as creatives but also as humans, naviguating tumultuous times where engaging onto our narratives in a Western context seems not only essential, but urgent. OPENING “Mémoires et Identités” 10 rue des Ecouffes, 75004 Paris @refletmachine Words escape me at how grateful I am for this opening. This exhibition is a dream come true, I’ve dreamt of creating this space with my community for so long. And seeing your support and seeing how you relate to the stories being told, is everything and more than I could’ve wished for. Full transparency, these last years have been tricky. Doubt seeped in, and working so hard for sod little got hard. But these last two days have made it all worth it. And it’s only the beginning. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Aloïse x 🪽🤍🌞

Migration, mémoire, identité : nous explorons ces territoires selon nos propres termes. Sans filtre, sans injonction. Ici, le but n’est pas de « se confier » pour répondre à une attente, mais de créer à partir de sa propre vérité. Une immersion dans la souveraineté de nos récits. ✴︎ Memory and Identity: Reclaiming Our Narratives For its first group show, EANNA Studio presents a space for unbridled expression. Migration, memory, identity: we explore these spaces on our own terms. No constraints, no filter. We are not here to offer “confessions” to satisfy an expectation, but to assert our deeper truths.
