Our drinking fountain at this years @heartlandfestivaldk A reimagined way to hydrate at a festival — born from the belief that water belongs to everyone. Our drinking fountain is more than a functional object; it’s a quiet celebration of tap water as a common resource, an essential part of democratic life, and something worth protecting. "Water gives way to anything harder than itself, offers no resistance, flows around obstacles, accepts whatever comes to it… yet continues to be itself." — Ursula K. Le Guin No grand gestures, no reinvention. Just a thoughtful intervention, designed to make the essential effortless, the common beautiful. Because sometimes, the most radical act is to honor what’s already there.

Our goal is to help reduce the 100 million litres of bottled water consumed in Denmark each year. To help achieve this, we created the Postevand App, a simple way to find free tap water near you in Denmark. The app shows nearby locations offering free tap water, from public fountains to cafes and restaurants supporting our mission. It’s free to use, no sign-up required. Save money, reduce plastic waste, and join the change. Download the app here: /

Postevand is groundwater sourced from the Vihøj Water Treatment Plant in northern Denmark—the exact same water that comes from your tap. Yes, you read that right ;). Named after the Danish word for tap water, we are transparent about offering tap water as the best and most climate friendly water to drink. Whether you drink from a glass at home, a reusable water bottle, or a Postevand carton, it’s all the same—local, refreshing tap water.

Most businesses exist to make money—but Postevand exists to make a difference. From the beginning, our goal has been to challenge the bottled water industry, reduce emissions, and rethink water consumption. Becoming a B Corp helps us improve continuously, identifying blind spots and driving lasting change. As Denmark’s only B Corp-certified water brand, we’re committed to sustainability and challenging the status quo, advocating for tap water and reducing plastic waste. By choosing Postevand, you’re supporting a company that fights for a future where water remains a shared resource, not a commodity. #BCorporation #positiveimpact #tapwater #Postevand

At @heartlandfestivaldk 2024 we helped facilitate the access to free, clean tap water for everyone at the festival. The switch from plastic bottles to tap water whenever possible is key to accelerate the change to less harmful ways of getting hydrated. Judging from our experience at the festival the switch is already taking place, with a lot of festival goers having brought their own reusable water bottles. Thanks to everyone visiting us in the pavillon. We hope to be back next year. Photos by @niklasadrianvindelev

At this year's @roskildefestival , we proudly contributed five water pavilions and ten water stations aimed at significantly improving access to tap water. Our intention was to highlight tap water as a common good, an essential part of democratic infrastructure, and emphasize the importance of protecting it. These pavilions were designed and constructed by @studio.gestalt and run by an amazing team of volunteers who played an essential role in bringing this vision to life. Thank you for joining us on this incredible journey! See you next year 💙
