Would recommend going to see @revelpucks Went to the opening night in East Barnet this evening. Was a fun and family-friendly atmosphere. Full of talent, spectacle, humour and showmanship. A real feel-good experience. #eastbarnet #circus #familyfun #northlondon

A stunning four mile circular walk from the small village of Cardington (centre of first photo), with panoramic views across the surrounding countryside. We passed a number of curious stony outcrops. Seeing them reminded me of the passage in Luke’s Gospel where, as Jesus approached Jerusalem on a donkey, he was met by a huge crowd singing praises to God. Some of the Pharisees urged him to silence the people, but Jesus replied, “If they kept quiet, the stones would do it for them, shouting praise.” Nature worships God because it was created to do so, but we have been called to worship Him not just with our existence but with our hearts, minds and lives. #luke19v40 #naturepraisesgod #shropshirehills #battlestones #sharpstones

Less than 2 months to go until we take part in our first marathon distance hike - in the Shropshire Hills. We were up in Church Stretton this weekend and fitted in a fair amount of hill training in preparation for the challenge. I was super excited to come across this banner advertising the event, with the teaser behind of a glimpse of a small section of the Long Mynd. @st_lawrenceprimary - such a fab idea for a fundraiser! I’d have loved to help organise something similar in my days of being involved in the PTA at my children’s primary school. We don’t quite have the same backdrop in North London though. #mynddrover #longmynd #shropshirehills #hikingchallenge

Today we are celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary. I am so grateful to God for His provision, direction and goodness to us. Of course we have had our ups and downs, and there will be more to come. However, I am very aware of how blessed we are to still be able to say that we are very happily married. An unexpected extra blessing for me is that the dress that I wore in the evening on our wedding day still fits me! (I only have a couple of ‘snaps’ as evidence from the day).

Took a train from Stourbridge Junction this afternoon. Was super-happy to see @georgethestation for the first time in person. Unfortunately he was far too busy sleeping to pay me any attention. Had a few moments to admire the Spring-themed postbox topper on platform 2 before my train pulled in.

Final day of the One Hour Outside photo challenge which ran during the month of February - TAKING A MOMENT. Thank you @splodz for the great variety of words/phrases that you selected for the challenge. I’m grateful to have had the motivation to get outside each day and to have had the reminder to pay more attention to the world around me. #splodzdpc #onehouroutside #februarychallenge #takeamoment

Day 26 of the @splodz One Hour Outside photo challenge - PATTERNS. Was hoping to photograph a cobweb, but couldn’t get a clear shot in focus. I opted for the veins in the ivy leaves instead. #splodzdpc #patterns

Took the Lioness Line from Euston out towards Watford today to pick up my trail following the London Spiral. Covered 24km from Carpenders Park station to Hayes & Harlington station. Such a joy to be out under the clear blue skies and to splodge along some muddy footpaths. Plenty of signs that Spring is on its way. #londonspiral #hillingdontrail #mrbluesky #springhassprung

Day 25 of the @splodz One Hour Outside photo challenge. Today’s word is HIDDEN. With the forecast of blue skies and warmer temperatures just for today I took advantage of having a clear diary. I headed out for a run/hike and today’s word provided the perfect excuse to throw in some geocaching too. For the uninitiated, geocaching is a kind of outdoor treasure hunt where you use an app to help you discover HIDDEN containers of various shapes and sizes. Once found you open the container and sign your name on a piece of paper inside. 1️⃣ A pet ID barrel partially covered in camo tape and attached to a tree branch. (Easier to spot at this time of year when there’s less foliage). 2️⃣ A screw-top tube covered in black tape, with a small magnet under the tape ( which enables the tube to be fixed to a metal post). #splodzdpc #onehouroutside #hidden #hiddeninplainsight #geocaching

Day 24 of the @splodz One Hour Outside challenge - FAVOURITE PLACE. My absolute favourite places are too far away for me to visit today. However I was able to get to one of my local parks, which I’m also fond of. It’s a place where I go to run, walk, work out, catch up with friends, sit and pray. #splodzdpc #onehouroutside #favouriteplace #localpark
