At PSS, we’re lucky to welcome so many lovely families shopping with us. Sisters, mothers, partners, and sometimes even three generations at once.
This week, we want to celebrate mothers and the maternal figures in your life by giving away a pair of PSS shoes of your choice. To enter:

Post Sole Shop is changing…
Over the past 2 years, we have been home to over 40 independent brands from Australia and Aotearoa. We’ve loved hosting a space where people can come in, experience these beautiful pieces, and support our fellow small businesses.
The next couple of months will be the last chance to see these brands in our shop. From this winter, we will be changing how we operate.
As a small shoe manufacturer and brand, we have always been juggling a lot of things. Designing and making shoes, while also running a brand and consignment shop, is a lot of work for the three of us. As you may know, manufacturing in Melbourne is not getting easier, so we have decided that we need to shift our focus to keeping Post Sole Studio going. This means stepping away from the shop as it is now, so we can dedicate more time and energy to our shoes.
Post Sole Shop will still remain a place to try on and buy shoes. We will be changing our visiting hours and days, so keep an eye out for further details.
In the meantime, we would love to see you in store before things change. There will not be any final sales, so please come and try on pieces and support local designers while they are here.
I (Yoshi) personally treasure the interactions I’ve had with all of our amazing customers in this space and will miss this phase of Post Sole Shop dearly. Thank you to all of our incredible brands who I’ve shared many great conversations with and everyone who has come in over the last 2 years.

Remember the repair from the last post? All done and delivered, pretty proud of this one. Reshaped the heel, replaced the sole, finished with a clean and polish 🔨
Tips on how to care for your shoes:
1. Get a protective sole put on your leather or resin soles. It makes them last longer and helps with grip. Any cobbler can do this for you.
2. Check the heel top piece. Make sure it doesn’t wear past the rubber into the wooden heel. If it’s close, get it replaced. Again, any cobbler can do this for you.
3. Undo your buckles/laces when you take your shoes on and off. It stops the backs from getting crushed and keeps your shoes looking and fitting well for longer.
4. Polish your shoes! Use shoe polish, leather conditioner, or wax. Whatever product you prefer to keep your leather shoes looking good and prevent them from drying out.
We loved seeing all of your PSS shoes come through the other weekend to get polished. A little bit of care goes a long way!
