POSSIBLY SIMIAN: YEAR IN REVIEW (2025) Thank you to all of our audience members and listeners, to all of the sound guys and all of the venue owners, to the other bands we got to play with, and especially thank you to @allanmstacy for recording and mastering our debut single "Moonshine"! When I started this band back in February, I intended to play four shows and four shows only. I wanted this to be my tiniest commitment. After we sold out our official debut show at Moshmellow, it was all uphill from there. This wasn't something I expected to go the whole nine yards for- photoshoots, recording, etc., but now I couldn't imagine it any other way. The support we have received has been overwhelming and next year we have some very special surprises in mind to give back to all of you. Thank you Ian @jallenjr_d and Conner @connerjpink for helping me bring this to fruition and agreeing to my silly idea a year ago. I cherish our pre- and post- practice bullshit sessions. Thank you to Jordan @dugger.mp3 and @lukecals for the videos, and for always being so helpful when I have frontman or gear questions. And a very warm and special thank you to @del.idelle for always encouraging and supporting me with all that I do, without you none of this would be possible. All of that said, we have officially gone into hibernation. We will be back, but not before we have something to show for it. THE MONKEYS ARE IN FULL SWING!!! Possibly Simian had its official debut to the STL music scene with what critics are calling "The Show Of The Summer"! With supporting acts from @foolsworld618 , @midwest_goodbye and the incomparable @innercitywitches , it was a night long to be forgotten. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR COMING AND SUPPORTING US! I think it's safe to say none of us expected such a fantastic reception. I can't stress enough how cathartic it felt to be there in that moment. The songs we play, however silly and apelike, hold an incredible amount of meaning to me in a lot of personal ways. Being able to share them (let alone being encouraged to) makes all those things go away. So truly, from the bottom of my heart, I can not thank you all enough. That being said, we are far from done! Our next appearances are rumored to be in early and late September, and if you missed your chance to come have a costume party with the primates you'll have another shot on Halloween night! To close, I want to mention that all good things come to an end. For @reubenonyourmind , the show ended with them in the hospital for a concussion. JULY 11 at MOSHMELLOW will be the OFFICIAL DEBUT of POSSIBLY SIMIAN (the band)! Some big moments from this year: 2nd slide- 1st real music trip 3rd- got to see my mom :) 4th- sweet velo 💛🧡 6th- 1st @marty.ridge show at @thebacksidestl 9th- getting to join @thepublicstl on stage for swat at the shammy st paddys show, @dylanandersen7 telling me i killed it 14th- @big_kat999 got very cold for some reason in madison I had a lot of oppurtunities to do stuff im really proud of and had a lot of special moments with people i feel very lucky to know. I have some plans to put out solo stuff for 2025 and im really excited to keep doing the things that make me happy. Always remember to crack open the coconut and its okay if you spill it, its still worrh a try
