Back in the 80s and 90s, we were inspired by the Hawaiian Strength tees—one of the few designs that truly resonated with us. In 2022, we set out to bring back that spirit, but in a way that reflected our deep love for Pasifika culture.
We sourced the best materials, designed labels, and packaging, but struggled to find the right artist who could capture the heart of our vision. After failed attempts with freelancers and even AI, we put the project on hold.
Then, a chance meeting with my old uso Johnny Leniu changed everything. His incredible pen and ink work, combined with his passion for the Pasifika Strength concept, brought our dream to life. It was worth the wait.
