How does a speed highline world cup race look like from up there? See it through the eyes of my GoPro 😉 First day of the elimination phase of the Kempes World Cup, I'm super happy about my performance, consistently staying below 50 seconds (100 m racing distance). The third run was not important for my standing, it was only to determine the second athlete moving on, so I could have some fun and record it. World record and vice-championship in the first ever open international 1 km highline competition in 张家界 national park, China 🥈🏆 ☝️Fastest 1 kilometr crossing without falls in a competition - 14 mins 48 sec in the qualification round ✌️ Fastest 1 kilometr crossing with falls in a competition - 14 mins 29 sec in the semi-final 🌬️🏃 No falls in the final but I had not been able to present a comparable speed against the strong wind. The times from previous rounds had no influence on the final result, therefore I did not win the competition. The ultimate wind chaser and "King of Asia" is now @archiewilliamss , and I am very happy for him because we essentially represent one team, we trained together before the competition, and Archie's progress has been incredible 🙂 Big thanks to @hallamshih for organizing this competition! I really hope there will be other long distance speed highline competitions popping up all over the world now 😍

Chuva, pressão… e dois dos mais rápidos do mundo na fita. A final do Speedline no Paraíso Vivo foi decidida com muita emoção. De um lado, @magodoequilibrio , baiano, recordista mundial de Waterline e Speedline. Do outro, @positively_addicted atleta de elite, ex-recordista dos 200m. Aquela corrida, com direito a desempate, numa final insana, debaixo de chuva, na Praia do Gravatá. Mas esse momento é só uma parte de algo maior. Depois de 7 anos, Floripa voltou a receber um grande festival de Highline. O @festivalparaisovivo reuniu atletas do Brasil e do mundo, e só aconteceu graças a dezenas de pessoas, organização e voluntários que transformaram tudo isso em realidade. Throwback to the most beautiful line I walked in China 😻 During the first session I struggled with send anxiety, which made the walk rather hectic and relatively slow. Nevertheless, I absolutely loved being out there and appreciating the scenery of Shenxianju mountains from the unique perspective offered by this 970 m long and one inch wide bridge. A few days later, I got to have another go, which was full bliss of racing though the cloud that would intermittently swallow me in their fog and then reveal part of the view again. At that time I was nearing the end of my 42 day visit in China (first time ever in South-East Asia) and as much as I continued to marvel at the stunning beauty of the place, I was also looking forward to come back to the familiarity of Europe. Perhaps it is most fitting that I am only transferring this footage to my phone and posting it now, a few months later that I am craving exotic travels again 🙂 It is also fitting that the clip was recorded by @magodoequillibrio , and it is his country that's calling me soon as a new travel destination. Will the Brazilian highline experience prove as epic as the Chinese one? We'll find out soon enough 😉 Special thanks to @slackerioz for organizing the Shenxianju highline and for inviting me and other lovely international athletes to enjoy it 🙏

Belated Fat Thursday from Sicily 🍩🧗🌄🌊 Unfortunately, I got confused this year thinking that Fat Thursday took place yesterday, when I'm fact it had already happened a week before. Also, I wish I had chosen to record horizontally and make it a YouTube video, as the amount of content would be more fitting, I thought it would have been too much to make a YouTube video on the middle of a climbing trip. Anyways, as imperfect as things worked out, my Fat Thursday tradition lives on, with my first ever attempt at juggle-eating while rock climbing 🙂 Thanks team for helping out with the video! @buianh2 @adrian_walczak11 @autopromocja @w0n1ak @krvlikowski
