What were your favorite moments from the Summit?
This year’s Silicon Forest Tech Summit brought together an incredible lineup of builders, thinkers, artists, founders, and technologists.
From conversations on AI, cybersecurity, and engineering to entrepreneurship, creativity, accessibility, and community, the stage reflected the many ways innovation is happening across our ecosystem.
We had complimentary drinks and light appetizers from Kismayo and Miss’ipi Chef while everyone settled in and started connecting.
It ended up being a packed schedule and a packed house, with over 1,000 ticket holders joining throughout the day. The energy in the room was incredible.

A Filipino saying that translates to “Do what you want with your life.” It can be used as an expression of freedom, sometimes signifying empowerment. But in my true Aries fashion, I grew up hearing it in my parent’s confrontational tone of frustration. 😂 Especially if I was walking to the beat of my own drum, going against the grain, and making my own choices and decisions, even if those choices seemed reckless to them at the time lol. To this day, I still stand in my individuality and confidence. “Bahala ka sa buhay mo” and Happy AAPI Heritage Month! 😉❤️🔥✌🏼🇵🇭

In a world moving faster than ever, resilience matters just as much as innovation.
One of the most powerful reminders from the Silicon Forest Tech Summit was that the strongest systems and the strongest people are not the ones that never face pressure, but the ones designed to grow through it.
Asmae’s talk challenged us to rethink how we build in the age of AI, cybersecurity, and rapid technological change. Not just building fast, but building with intention, trust, adaptability, and community in mind.
“Root deeply. Flex, don’t break.”
That message will stay with me for a long time.

I like to play dress up. I like to make my lil dance videos, and share my favorite songs. And while those things might sound simple, they bring me so much joy.
And I will continue to yap about it because there is no better feeling than fulfillment - in whatever form that takes (even if it is a little silly). So whatever you enjoy doing, do it with passion, and do it with purpose. And don’t ever let anyone tell you that you can’t.
You got one life, so you might as well enjoy it 🤷♀️
