On board a ship cruising through the Hamburg Harbour, and at three exclusive locations, indie game studio directors connected in a confidential setting.
Furthermore, the local games industry and more games industry professionals got together, exchanged ideas, and learned best practices from one another.
And now it’s official: we’re setting sail again on June 25 and 26, 2026!

Portside Game Assembly welcomes national and international indie game developers to unique locations in Hamburg in June 2026.
To shine a spotlight on Hamburg’s vibrant indie scene, we’re hosting a “Games Made in Hamburg Showcase" at the Games Industry Party on June 26, 2026.
Hamburg-based developers, studios, and teams are invited to apply and present their games in our showcase area during the party. Applications are open until May 22.
