Trail blazing
Leica M6 + Q3 + Mamiya 7 | Portra 400
Trail running has been a huge part of my journey in the backcountry and a natural progression a lot of my friends have taken as we push bigger goals. Not only do you get to see more when you’re out in the mountains but there’s a feeling of gliding through the wilderness that unparalleled.
( Currently rehabbing a foot injury so I’m going back through fun memories on trail )

Since my M6 is officially broken and being sent off for repair, I’ve curated a series from Glacier, when I spent a summer solely using the M6 and a 28mm Lux. I miss the days of a one camera, one lens setup. Having fewer options led to more creativity, plus a much lighter pack.

With all the daytime views a small point n shoot camera becomes your best friend for documenting your adventure. As much as I love golden light and colorful sunsets capturing the small moments in between become the most memorable

@adata_na || There’s nothing more important that your memories. As much as we like to focus on gear some of the most essential part of my kit is my storage system. I often go back in my archive when creating and always keeps multiple drives on me while I travel.
I can’t praise Adata enough for making a reliable and durable drive I’m happy to take with me wherever my adventures take me. Please make sure you backup your archive and bring it with ya incase inspiration hits ( My favorite is the 810 SSD )

Summers Scans
Canon AE-1 | Portra 400 + Cinestill
Diving deep into the archive to find my uncropped scanned from 2021-2022. Back in these days I used my Epson v700 + Viewscan to scan everything in and honestly hated how long / stressful the process of nailing focus with the film trays. Glad those days are over tbh ( If the colors seem weird it’s because I was kinda bad at scanning - Viewscan made you balance every single frame by hand which gave me the repetition needed to develop my editing style. Little did I know this painful process would become such a big part of my creative journey )

In the heart of the Desert

There’s something about spring in the Southwest that gives a whole new life to these barren landscapes. The passing storms feed this fresh growth for a couple of weeks before the heat of summer starts to kick in. This might be my favorite time to visit the high desert.
