Curating the space as we do our homes, bringing together pieces from different eras, journeys and material histories to form a personal and cohesive exhibition. Layered with the experience of sound and tactility, exhibiting new works from @friendly.pressure and @cescadvorak

Hand-carved wooden bowl with an irregular, sculptural form.
The shape follows the natural grain of the wood, folding and opening in response to it. Variations in tone and pattern run through the surface, giving the piece depth and movement.
Both functional and object-like in its presence.

Late 20th century, Italian
Casa Z: The breathtaking kitchen of architect Peter Zumthor’s Home and Studio in the small village of Haldenstein, Switzerland.
The first studio was built in 1986 and in 2005, Zumthor separated family life from work by building a concrete structure just meters away, adjacent to his private family home.
Oriented to the south, it combined work and living spaces around light, silence, and a garden, serving as both home and studio for years.
With a U-shaped plan embracing a central garden, the concrete-and-glass structure balances openness and intimacy, shifting naturally between public and private spaces. A quiet lesson in how architecture evolves with life.
Trieste folding chair, an iconic 1960’s design attributed to Aldo Jacober for Alberto Brazanni. A solid wood chair with slatted seat and angled frame. The structure leans toward the functional clarity seen in Italian design during this period.
Exhibited at both the Victoria & Albert Museum and MoMA, highlighting its enduring design significance.

A sculptural Art Deco 1930s ceramic vase with twin orchid-form handles and a classical amphora silhouette, attributed to Constance Spry. Raised on a pedestal base, the opening is fitted with a removable metal grid designed for structured floral arrangements. The soft cream glaze highlights the relief of the handles and the balanced proportions of the form.
