a few years ago, i met @poproxing at a tenant organizing meeting & from there we grew a friendship filled with a ton of artistic collaboration, including being her personal photographer for the murals she paints. photos i haven’t really shared anywhere before now 🎨

Rose City Rising is a hand-drawn 16-bit skate game inspired by p:ear’s skate club - built by local youth artists, musicians, and developers.
Explore Old Town Chinatown, Downtown, and the Shanghai Tunnels in different ways.

p:ear will have our windows lit up for the entire festival, February 6–14. We’ll be open to the public on Friday the 6th and Saturday the 7th from 6–8 PM, inviting visitors to stop by, see the game, and possibly try it out.
During those evenings, we’ll be hosting art activities for kids and families, along with art and merchandise for sale. Visitors can also learn more about Pear and all of our exciting programming. We’ll be especially highlighting Flower Works and Wired Wednesday throughout the festival.
