Popdot Studio creates playful, character-led ceramic work inspired by illustration, folklore, and the small magic of everyday life. Best known for her signature wheel-thrown teeny tiny pots, Poppy works across disciplines, combining throwing and hand-building to create both miniature functional ware and sculptural pieces full of personality.
With a background in illustration, many works begin as drawings before being translated into three-dimensional ceramic forms, resulting in pieces that feel animated, tactile, and story-driven. Each tiny pot is thrown with care at a miniature scale, celebrating patience, skill, and the joy of small things.
Based in Falmouth, Poppy is a disabled, neurodivergent artist working with stoneware and locally sourced Cornish clay. Her practice embraces play, curiosity, and non-linear making, with every piece made in small batches and finished by hand.
