💬 Comment RSVP and we’ll send you the link 💬 When your child says “I can’t do it,” what happens next matters. For so many parents, those moments can feel emotional and overwhelming. We want to help, fix it, rescue them, or make the feeling go away as quickly as possible. But sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is stay grounded and connected through it. Join us for How to Respond to Helplessness in Your Child, a conversation with @popcoparenting through a positive discipline lens about helping kids build resilience, confidence, and a sense of capability—without power struggles or shame. Together, we’ll talk about: ✨ what helplessness can actually look like in kids ✨ how our own emotions shape our responses ✨ ways to support resilience without taking over ✨ practical tools for staying calm, connected, and effective in hard moments 🗓 Tuesday, May 19th ⏰ 1:00 PM – 1:45 PM EDT 💻 Virtual Because confidence isn’t built by never struggling—it’s built by learning you can move through hard things with support.

If you were thinking, “I don’t remember following PopCo Parenting…” - it’s because I had a name change! PopCo stands for parenting with intention and doing it in a way that does not add more weight to the mental load - instead our partnership is meant to lessen the load and hone in on what matters to YOU. If things are feeling out of control and you feel all over the place - reacting when you wish you could be responsive - let’s hang. XOXO, Suzie

You’ll always get more of what you focus on. When we spend our energy yelling about what we don’t want, we accidentally give it more attention, more power. Try flipping it. Notice the small moments you do want more of—and say them out loud. “Hey, I love how gently you’re playing.” “Thank you for listening the first time.” And when you need something different? Ask for it clearly. Not what to stop—what to start. Parenting isn’t about catching what’s wrong. It’s about teaching, noticing, and reinforcing what’s right. #parenting #mindfulparenting #momlife #dadlife

Stepparenting is layered—and no one really teaches you how to do it. If you’re unsure where you fit, when to step in, or how to build connection without forcing it… you’re not alone. I’m hosting a small step-parent group in collaboration with @joinauggie ’s small groups launch! It will be a space for real conversations, clarity around your role, and tools that actually help. This isn’t about perfection. It’s about feeling more steady, confident, and grounded in how you show up. XOXO #stepparent #parenting #modernfamily #mindfulparenting

Kids don’t process through talking the way we do… they process through play. She’s been needing nebulizer treatments lately, and instead of pushing it aside or “moving on,” she’s bringing it into her play. Reenacting. Exploring. Making sense of it in her own way. Using real (safe) supplies can be so powerful. It gives kids a chance to feel in control of something that might have felt big or unfamiliar. Play isn’t just play—it’s how children understand their world, work through experiences, and build confidence. The more we make space for it, the more they process. #intentionalparenting #parenting #play #momlife

Mindfulness gets a reputation for being something you have to carve out time for… sit still… clear your mind… meditate perfectly. But that’s not really it. Mindfulness is simply noticing. Noticing what’s happening around you. Noticing what’s happening inside you. And sometimes just putting words to it. “I’m feeling frustrated right now.” “My body feels tight.” “I feel grateful that my children are smiling and having fun.” “I feel the heat of my coffee move down my throat” That’s it. That’s the muscle. And the more you practice noticing in everyday moments, the stronger that muscle gets—so it’s there for you when things feel harder. You can do it while washing dishes, walking the dog, driving your kids to school, or sitting on the floor while they play. Small moments count. If you’re working on being a calmer, more intentional parent and want support along the way, reach out about coaching. It starts with mindfulness, with awareness. And I’d love to hear from you— What’s one small way you practice noticing during the day?

There are moments in parenting we don’t talk about enough — like when your child’s behavior brings up a really strong reaction. If you’ve ever felt that and wondered what it means (or what to do next), you’re not alone. Join us for a judgment-free conversation with @empowernting on understanding big parenting emotions, regulating in the moment, and responding in ways that build connection — even when it feels hardest. 📅 Monday, April 20 | 1–1:45 PM ET 💻 Virtual + free 🔗 Comment RSVP to join!
