At the @goldhouseco Gold Gala, one idea echoed across the night: we get further together. PCC was proud to celebrate a night honoring Asian Pacific storytellers, culture shapers, founders, and movement builders pushing us beyond representation alone and toward deeper connection, shared responsibility, and collective future. Throughout the evening, artists and cultural leaders spoke about community not as a buzz word, but as infrastructure. As protection against isolation, fear, and fragmentation in a moment that keeps trying to convince people they are alone. For communities historically excluded, displaced, or erased, gathering has always been more than symbolic. It’s survival, strategy, and how we continue to see each other when the world refuses to. Swipe through for some of the quotes from the night that stayed with us. #GoldGala #GoldHouse #NarrativePower #PluralistCulture

Pop Culture Collaborative took the stage at the 2026 Gold Gala in Los Angeles this weekend as a proud longtime partner and sponsor of @goldhouseco . ✨ PCC CEO Bridgit Antoinette Evans, alongside PCC’s invited guests actor Ryan Michelle Bathé and former Teen Vogue Editor in Chief Elaine Welteroth, celebrated a night honoring the artists, founders, storytellers, and movement leaders shaping global culture and helping move Asian Pacific culture beyond visibility alone toward deeper connection across communities, industries, and a shared cultural future. 650+ people in one room thinking deeply about culture, belonging, and collective future? Yeah. Very much our kind of function. More from the Gold Gala later this week! #GoldGala #GoldHouse #PluralistCulture #NarrativePower

The Met Gala is always a spectacle, but this year, while the red carpet rolled out, so did resistance. Pluralist culture isn’t just about who’s invited into the room. It’s about who is seen, who is protected, and whose stories are allowed to take up space. Which also includes the conversation outside of the room. You could feel the tension everywhere, between wealth and labor, between celebration and erasure, between performance and truth. What we saw on and off the carpet reminded us that fashion is never just aesthetic, it’s narrative, memory, and politics all at once. From looks that held contradiction and critique, to bodies that refused to be edited out, to style that moved without asking for permission, to voices that refused to be silent, this is what pluralist culture looks like in real time. Swipe through to see those who understood the moment. #MetGala #PluralistCulture #NarrativePower #FashionIsPolitical

The part you don’t see that makes narrative power possible? Core capacity. Research. Networks. Convening spaces. This kind of narrative infrastructure takes long-term funding. Our NARRATIVE INFRASTRUCTURE investment portfolio strengthens the infrastructure driving narrative power across digital culture, fandom, and communities. Here are a few grantees who embody this work in practice: @disabilityculturelab — training the next generation of disability narrative leaders @m.otherboard — building tools for inclusive, creative fandoms and communities @weareotv — expanding a vibrant ecosystem of intersectional storytellers Big respect to all our grantees building what’s next. #NarrativeInfrastructure #NarrativePower #PluralistCulture

Stories don’t move people on their own. Communities are where people discover, explore, and remix content and ideas, allowing them to take root and evolve into norms. Narrative infrastructure is the connective tissue. Our CONTENT & COMMUNITIES investment portfolio resources infrastructure that helps creatives and cultural strategists to produce pop culture content, nurture fandoms, and foster communities that build public yearning and action for a just and pluralist future. Here are a few grantees who bring this work to life: @somosmaremoto — building a Latino narrative ecosystem rooted in belonging @maysoonzayid — creating bold, accessible storytelling across platforms @question.culture — using music, film, and fashion to reimagine care, accountability, and community Shout out to all our grantees shaping culture from the inside out. #NarrativeInfrastructure #NarrativePower #PluralistCulture

Narrative power doesn’t just happen. It’s built through people who know how to move culture, not just comment on it. That’s narrative infrastructure. Our LEADERSHIP & INFLUENCE investment portfolio supports narrative leaders and influencers who capture public imagination and help millions of people understand complex realities and find their power in a tumultuous world. Here are just a few of the many PCC grantees who embody this work in practice: @adriennemareebrown — building a global practice of love as a force for change @alokvmenon — using art and visibility to expand how we understand gender and belonging @valariekaur — advancing revolutionary love as a framework for justice Big love to these leaders and the many others building the conditions for real narrative change. #NarrativeInfrastructure #NarrativePower #PluralistCulture

Narrative power can look like a singular cultural moment. A speech. A clip. A line that lands. But it’s actually built over time through relationships, strategy, and infrastructure that allow ideas to move widely, quickly, and stick. And when culture moves, public opinion follows. Swipe through for a breakdown of how narrative infrastructure works and why it matters more than ever. #NarrativePower #NarrativeInfrastructure #CultureShift #PluralistCulture @jesslivmo @nelstamp @sarahsophief @aijenp

Congratulations to Autumn Durald Arkapaw (addp) for her Oscar win for Best Cinematography! Through light, shadow, and movement, Autumn's extraordinary eye helped bring the world of Sinners to life. She deepened the story and shaped the mood, tension, and rich texture that drew audiences back to theaters again and again to experience this masterpiece. And as the *first woman of color* to be nominated—and win!—in this category, this moment reminds us that we still have a long way to go, but when we disrupt old habits in hiring and financing, and invest in more diverse talent to shape how stories are seen, the language of cinema evolves. #AutumnDuraldArkapaw #Sinners #ThisIsNarrativePower #Oscars2026

Huge congratulations to Ryan Coogler on his Oscar win for Best Original Screenplay for Sinners! 🎬 Tonight we celebrate a visionary, genius, futurist, and caretaker of our collective memory who continues to show us what happens when bold imagination meets unapologetic Black creativity. The result? Stories that entertain us and expand what we believe is possible. Turns out art really is one of the most powerful tools we have to reclaim truth, repair harms, and reshape the story of our future. #Sinners #RyanCoogler #NarrativePower #Oscars2026
