Saturday Night Soul at The Poor Relation! 🎷 Get ready to shake your whole body this Saturday night as we welcome The Professional Blues Band to the stage. This isn't your average blues set—we’re talking world-class rock ’n’ roll and salacious soul with absolutely NO guitar. 🎹 Expect a high-energy lineup of drums, electric bass, piano, and tenor sax ripping through nifty numbers from legends like Little Richard, Ray Charles, and Louis Prima. 🕺 10PM- FREE IN!

The Darts 10pm FREE The Darts” are a fresh four piece band playing classic covers of your favourite songs. With years of experience individually, they have come together to entertain and revive the classic rock scene in Cork. They will take you through the decades with music from Bill Withers, Stevie Wonder, Bon Jovi to Amy Winehouse, Kings of Leon and The Black Keys. They promise a night of remembering your favorite hits, singing with your friends and dancing the night away.

Community, we are reaching out with a heartfelt request for someone special to join our story. Our dear friend is a remarkable young woman who has faced extraordinary challenges over the past year, and as she takes the necessary time to focus on her recovery, we’ve promised to find the perfect temporary home for her two beloved dogs, Blaze and Poppy. These two are truly exceptional companions who have been impeccably trained and cared for. They are people-friendly, homeable, and full of love to give. We are looking for a genuine, caring person or family who can offer them a stable and loving environment for the next 6 to 12 months, starting from May 13. Blaze and Poppy are both chipped, neutered, and described by their current carer as having no issues whatsoever—just two beautiful dogs looking for a soft place to land while their owner heals. Blues Jam (Players Welcome) House Band: Sanarblan Slim Jims 8pm FREE House band: Sanarblan Slim & The Slim Jims. Curated by Sanarblan Slim and the Slim Jims (Alan Comerford - Guitar, Patrick Freeman - Bass, Ultan Lavery - Piano and Jimmy Christie - Drums), the night will focus predominantly on the pre 60's blues of American musicians. Featuring songs from the early innovators of the blues - Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf, Leadbelly, J. B Lenoir, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Junior Wells, BB King, Freddy King, Albert King et al. The night will be open to musicians who would like to jam. Bring your weapon of choice or use what's there.

The Long Shots 10pm Free The Long Shots are a new band formed by Ray (mandolin) and Robbie Barron (guitar and vocals) that play a mixture of songs and tunes that traverses several musical genres from The Beatles to Brazilian Choros with lots of interesting musical detours along the way. They are joined by Michael Riordan on Double Bass and Geraldine Barron on accordion and concertina.
