I first heard Poor Old Lu at a Christian Bookstore when I put in the demo for Sin based only on the artwork and was blown away! I l bought the CD that day! Later, a therapist gifted me with Mindsize on cassette. I love their mix of funk, rock, psychedelic, grunge, and indie rock. They have one of the best rounded bands I know, with each member being possibly the best at their instrument and craft. I’m so glad that ,thanks to their reunions, I have now seen them perform 4 times, each better than the last! And I am beyond lucky to count them as friends! I even have a podcast with one of the members and we have had the band on our podcast a couple times. (If you’ve missed that - definitely check it out) To me this is one of those rare bands that time has only helped to make them better and stronger! If you don’t know Poor Old Lu make sure to give them a listen today!
