Bay Area! Our show at the historic @thecastro_sf on Friday, May 1st is sold out, so we wanted to do something extra special. We are adding a second show on Saturday, May 2nd and it will be the first ever Poolside Open to Close!
The 4 hour show will begin with a Poolside DJ set to kick the night off, followed by a performance by the Poolside 6-piece live band and finally an encore Poolside DJ set to keep the party going to close the evening. It will be a night to remember!

All my friendsâ bands in the mid 2000s were playing @coachella and I was a DJ at the time. Coachella didnât really have DJs. I was lucky enough to play some Coachella parties like the @filter.magazine party in the first photo. But, throughout that time period I always wanted my band to play Coachella or to be booked at Coachella properly.
Eventually I gave up on my dreams. I knew it wasnât going to happen for me. I was getting to be too old and my bands were all breaking up and then I started an indie rock band and never suspected anything would happen with it as a little side project to my DJ career.
That band was called Poolside and in 2014 we were booked to play Coachella and I got to fulfill that long-time dream Iâd have of playing there.
Now itâs equally exciting to come back 12 years later and DJ @thedolab
Coachella has played an important part in Poolsideâs story and in my history of being a music lover.
Iâll be bringing Daytime Disco to the stage from 5PM-6PM. Hope to see you there.
