I shot this years ago but it never got to see the light of day. I think parts of me hated how rushed it looked so I never bothered posting it. Cosplay has always been a messy, imperfect experience and now that I’m older, I just want to make shit regardless if I love the outcome or not.
Seeing everyone’s responses to my last video made me really emotional about the journey I’ve been on, and how painful, yet healing, cosplay has been for me.
Cosplay is so much more than dressing up or going to conventions. It’s community.
