POLO_EV:
Prepare for some fast-paced, hardware-driven dub techno. polo ev_ brings a unique, fully improvised live set to the stage. No CDJs, just drum machines, modular synths and samplers all set to zero to bring raw authenticity and spontaneity to the dance floor. Drawing inspiration from the pioneering sounds of 90s analog techno, polo ev_ channels the spirit of labels like Basic Channel and Chain Reaction. Catch them live as part of the Berlin based techno purist DOUBT collective around your favourite clubs and festivals.
PSCHUKK: Berlin-born and based, Sophia is part of xcuse:u, coppi, and THF Radio. Once a month, she co-hosts coppi brunch on THF Radio – three hours of sharing brunch treats, records and stories with dear guests. Her selection builds off her deep appreciation for sounds from Detroit that laid the foundation for whatever came next.
DOPPELGANGER :
A collaboration between Jacopo Castellano and Niels Poensgen
JC is a video artist known for projection work including collaborations with the Magdeburg Opera House and Ballet, Zurich Tonhalle, Leipzig Gewandhaus and Colombia National Ballet. He currently resides in Berlin.
NP is a multimedia artist mostly concerned with thinking about questions regarding boundaries between technological, human and non-human systems. Works mainly with code or a soldering iron and has a masters in Sound Studies and Sonic Arts from UDK, Berlin.
