We meet Anouck and Pol in Geneva. Anouck is carrying our classic Cabas bag in enSoie’s signature red Vichy check, while Pol wears the iconic Tommy cap and our cosy Fiona Donegal sweater.
enSoie: Which item do you reach for most often? Why that one? Pol: The L.L.Bean Boat and Tote. It follows me everywhere. As a gallerist, it carries artworks, my laptop, a swimsuit, and sometimes even our dog, Albert. enSoie: Which fabrics do you love touching or wearing? Anouck: Pure cotton. It offers an unmatched sense of comfort and ease, something I am always drawn to.
enSoie: What city or place has influenced how you dress? Pol: Antwerp. I lived in Belgium for a while, and the city left a strong impression on me. It is shaped by a dynamic fashion and design ecosystem, which makes it truly distinctive.
Anouck: For me, it is London, where I studied. There is a bold sophistication in the way people dress, an effortless confidence and strong sense of individuality that has deeply influenced my style. enSoie: What’s your relationship to care: washing, repairing, sharing, gifting? Pol: Essential. To me, luxury is something that can be repaired and kept alive over time.
enSoie: Do you think about color a lot? Anouck: Always. Colour plays an essential role in how I express myself.
enSoie: Who were your early style icons? Pol: Corto Maltese, from Hugo Pratt’s comics. Effortless elegance.
enSoie: How would you describe your style in three words? Anouck: Playful, vibrant and intuitive.
