Today has not been great. Drop attack, panic, seizure, cried, dissociated, lost speech, shakey. No-I don’t k ow exactly what caused it. No-you don’t have to be stressed to have a physical reaction. Yes-I feel like a failure and want to give myself more grace.

The absolute greatest thing I have ever done with my life-being a mom. I love my kids so much! I had always wanted kids but played it off in my younger years that I didn’t because of fertility issues. But the universe heard my calling and gifted me a bonus son (he’s 23 now and been in his life since he was 6) and my birth son (he’s 14). Pregnancy was rough, labor sucked balls, and seeing your face made it all worth it.

One of kids is out living his life (almost 23 years old) and my other one is in Olympia doing political work in Congress (almost 14 years old).
It’s a different feeling knowing your kids are out contributing to society. These humans you help raise and/or create. I’m so proud of each of them for being awesome people.
I don’t consider myself to have Empty Nest, but I sure do miss them when they aren’t at home. #Mom #MomLife #MomOfBoys
