when he asks for one last set of pics before selling the G80… couldn’t say no. my only regret is not shooting it with @sonic203 ’s. maybe he can buy the BBSs…they’re for sale too! been sorta re-evaluating my incessant desire to use 24 masks per picture to color match everything for no reason, and always signing myself up for spending an hour photoshopping it all into a carousel…i’ve never seen anyone else do this format before, but i don’t think it lets each picture breathe and it sucks trying to find a “divider” between each pic that doesn’t visually subtract from it. i need your brain cells. let me know what you think. side note, this song is goated but jared leto sucks. shoot spot is….i don’t even remember. ask @1800packrat . #bmw #m3cs #bbswheels #ctcontentcreators

1am on a Monday on the side of the turnpike, with @mason_morissette_32 . he threw on the new @maxton_design_usa V4 front lip, pulled up, i got rain all over my polarizer, and we violated several fire lane parking laws. i want you to know that you CAN shoot cool cars in cool spots, you CAN do better than a garage, gas station, boat launch ramp…is it up to YOUR standards? if it doesn’t make YOU say “holy shit”, then do you actually like it? i tried to light paint with no reflections but caused some weird color effects. all the blues are different. fuck it. maybe i WILL keep running this editing format. a “set” of photos implies cohesiveness, but a “slide” implies a barrier between one picture and the next. why should my pictures be separate? #ctcontentcreators #s4 #audi #volkwheels

i collect M5 Comps like skittles, because i only have two skittles. waited 6 months for the right cars to be ready, matched the shoot spot, spent 5 hours editing, wrote a legitimate caption. everybody wanna shoot cool cars and get clout…nobody wanna lift this heavy ass weight. enjoy my attempt at lifting heavy ass weight by putting actual effort into this shit. i’m still not fully thinking when i’m shooting; spent so much time directing that i forgot to center the cars and shot a lot of repetitive angles. two cars is a challenge that i recommend everyone try, though. should you focus on the foreground or background subject? can you really edit both subjects the same way? how do you park them interestingly within your 4:5 field of view? and on ripping graphic design into your photography set: why not? i haven’t seen a single person use it as a crutch to make up for pictures that don’t stand on their own. i think these do. thanks @shotsbybuch @marlon_media for keeping us company. this spot is at the old Shick factory in Milford. #bmw #f90 #m5 #m5comp #shickrazors

new lowering springs. same german car. a design study every photographer deserves at least one black and white set. it felt like cheating, in that i had no colors to correct, no white balance to worry about, but it was still a challenge…can you still make people say “oh shit” with saturation set to -100? the hiatus was spending all winter waiting for the timing and weather and cars to align. jake was the first where the sun was up, the spot was clear, and i wasn’t in Kyrgyzstan or whatever other countries i keep going to. won’t catch me sacrificing a good “we’re back” for eye-level pics of an F80 at a car meet, or whatever people consider to be a “super fire set bro” these days. it had to be this. many shoots lined up with cars of many colors…stay tuned (spot is Beacon Prescriptions in Southington) #r129 #sl500

out with a bang for the year. couldn’t think of a better way to end the season than a 40 mile midnight drive to the GOAT shoot spot. lost my underglow and fender liners to I-95 on the way there, but that’s okay. 2025 was a lot of fun with y’all. love my friends. love the slightly concerning constant willingness to go get a Chili’s henny marg, love seeing the continued hate for mid photography of regular traffic at boring shoot spots, love that my project car gives me hearing damage, and i hope i made a positive impact on the scene and its standards this year. REMEMBER - for every set we don’t stay up til 2am editing, someone out there is getting paid for pictures much worse than ours….so we have to GET THERE FIRST. light paint with no gloves on the side of the berlin turnpike. notice the things you need to work on and keep a list, like “forgetting to follow @blacktiremedia ’s night shooting instructions” and so on. for example, i wrote down “stop trying to make the car the same color in all 22 pictures at 2:18am”. at least it only took five years and a bit of frostbite to decide i finally like my formula; 5% color grading, 10% photoshop edits and 85% shoot spot selection. i got a C in Calc III so that probably doesn’t add up. and opportunities like this might not come to you…you have to go find them. @slow.carguy taught me that! #huracan #huracanevo #ryft.co #ctcontentcreators

ever broken your polarizer walking up to the shoot? yep, didn’t fully lock the camera into the tripod. i should start doing that every time. 50 separate exposures, all of which looked like i slapped a nice @prismalensfx onto the end of this 24-70. i like how it came out and i like working with @g80.jon because he understands why an hour of shooting only produces 6 shots. but don’t get me wrong, i have no clue what i’m doing when night shooting. i pretty much set a random shutter speed, use the 5s shutter delay because Nikon’s app SUCKS and i have no remote trigger, and light areas from top to bottom….but in post, i did a lot of re-coloring and killing reflections and Aventurin Red still is inconsistent between shots. still, it’s another set where i actually tried, rather than posting a few eye-level shots from a car meet... #m3 #bmwm #g80 #ctcontentcreators #olympiadiner
