WE ARE EXPANDING!! We are pleased to welcome Malin Eiersland in to Point Rigging from January 1st! Malin has a background varying from dance to rigging, and was in the first batch coming out of «Fagskolen for sceneteknisk produksjon» in Oslo last year. As her exam project she did all planning and head rigging for Ramon in Oslo Spektrum! She has been employed at our sister company Oslo Kru for some years, and been borrowing the Point Rigging logo at many projects until now. We are now pleased to say that the logo stays on permanent, and can’t wait be even more colleagues with a big passion for rigging - and a drive to raise our industry to the next level!

PR16 Summer is here, and Marcus have done the first PR16 job in Trondheim supporting Trondheim Crew and Trondheim lyd for Trondheim Rocks//Neon//Justin Timberlake. This aluminium beast travels on 12 trucks (plus extras) and can hold a whopping 120 tons UDL at max capacity!! Enjoy some pictures from the first load in, and keep an eye out for another Eurotruss PR16 adventure (really) soon!

Gabrielle // Oslo Spektrum Dust have settled, so time for a look back at the magnificent Gabrielle show in Oslo Spektrum a couple weeks ago. Point Rigging assisted Spectre with planning and execution of all Rigging and Staging for this show. Marcus went on to make an efficient rig out of the artists design, both in the roof and on the ground. The design was quite compact, and closed in with drapes (on tracks) on all sides. With all the challenges that leads to we designed an efficient rigging system, a stage on wheels - wich went to trim and rolled into place exactly on time! On this show we had 132 markout points, including 40 points for…pink inflatable hearts. Stage consisted of about 275m2 of deck plus pyro ramps, side stages, stairs and so on - all on wheels for an efficient build. As a part of the prosess we also assisted with risk assessment and coordination for a cyberhoist system lifting the Artist up and down in a swing. NPRO - Event // Trondheim Spektrum Marcus assisted our friends in Npro with an large event in Trondheim Spektrum last week. This event had a lot of sitting guests, and called for a stage outside the normal stage-position in the venue. This ment some extra thinking and load-distribution to adapt the design in to the building. 88 points later, it all ended looking safe&smashing! Thanks, and see you soon!
