After more than two decades in the motion design industry, I've grown used to creating things that live on screens, beautiful, complex, digital... and often gone in a moment.
And while I'm still fully active as a freelance motion designer, last year I felt the urge to build something different on the side. Something real. So I took a leap and launched my own BJJ clothing brand:
@sendajiujitsu
Since then, I've been designing rashguards and shorts , shooting photos, building the online shop, promoting the brand, packing orders, everything from concept to customer. And the most rewarding part? Seeing people actually wear what I create. Meeting them. Training with them. Travelling because of the brand. Making friends along the way.
It's completely different rhythm compared to remote digital work. Nothing disappears. It lives on the mats.
This side project has been challenging, energizing, and incredibly fulfilling. It reminded me that creativity doesn't have to stay behind a screen. Here's to building things you can touch, share, and roll in. 🥋✨
