I realised the other day that it’s been THREE whole years since Pocket Sounds was birthed! Can’t quite believe it and the time has flownnnn by.
I’m now so settled in my new space and it really feels like home - it’s been super interesting learning a new room and figuring out what works best etc - those are the fun fun parts of this job.
Just wanna thank everyone who’s come to me with their music and also to everyone who’s continued to help me out when I’ve needed it - the recording studio / engineer community in Edinburgh is ridiculously supportive and I’m so grateful to be a part of it.
Still got some space in June and July so if you wanna join the Pocket Sounds family, hmu and we’ll get ya sorted out! Xxxx

Lots of this stuff should be coming out soon, so am buzzing for that.
Studio is very busy at the moment, but am taking bookings for June / July. There are one or two days going in April / May so if it’s urgent get in touch for those!

I recently had @isabellastrange in the studio to record a live session. We’ve got three tracks to share with you, the first of which will be released on 26~12~25 (🥊 day). Everything was filmed by our own dear @jules.c.thurlow & I think he’s captured the space & the band beautifully. Expect three hectic tracks from truly one of the best bands around at the moment. ~~~~ SICK ~~~~
That’s a wrapppp for 2025 in the studio. Been a weird ol’ year ~~ ended up moving into a new space which has been all kinds of work, but ultimately so worth it.
Big thanks to everyone who came to record with me this year, made so much lovely music in both my spaces and am feeling very lucky to get to do this for a living!

Luvennnnnnn the new studio space!! Room sounds real real good and is just a lovely space to record bands live / try out weird stupid things! Had some truly great sessions recently - here’s some photos from a couple with @groggband & @nationalplayboys
