#officiallyamazing
We did it! In September Drew broke the world record for the largest projected shadow, making (and holding in place for four hours!) a hand shadow dog measuring 14.28m x 18.06m (255 square metres).
Scroll through the images for the Autocad drawing of the shadow - part of the measuring process carried out by Jonathan Fletcher
@plowman_craven - and video footage of the last ten seconds of the four-hour attempt.
Enormous thanks to
@markgriffithsphotography for the great photographs and Charlie Stevens
@pocketcreatives for videoing the full session.
Much gratitude, too, to our two witnesses June Baker and Valerie Jarrett for their patience and professionalism and to
@glensirett for all his love and support.
Especial thanks to all the donors that made this possible
@hartmancornelia @neilejohnson @vzfee @robynpressley @indefinitearticles together with all the anonymous donors – and to
@dedolight for testing out lighting options for me.
Also thanks to the
@britishfilminstitute for letting us use the biggest screen in the country.
And last (but not least!) a great big thank you to
@guinnessworldrecords for all of their support, help and professionalism during this long process.
@drewcolby_shadowmaster is immensely grateful for all the support he received for this!
