A little before and after with my first time working with Damasteel! I've never been a huge damascus fan, but there is something special about this stuff. Honestly, surprised I got it to turn out so well 😅 This is one of my Mako models in the "Bjorkmans Twist" pattern which is my fav of theirs. The pattern is so tight and intricate, you can get lost staring at all the intricacies and folds in the steel 😍 There have been few times in my knifemaking career that i've been as excited for a blade as when I pulled this one out of the acid!😁 Now onto the crazy handle build, stay tuned for that! Special thanks to chef @colibri_knives for supplying me with the hot plate and beaker, thanks man!
