Come catch me and some homies at Strangeways on Saturday for a pre-Cinco de Mayo celebration featuring some absolutely filthy, stank ahh bass. Tickets are free with RSVP on eventbrite prior to the event. See you there, much love ✌🏽

Finally getting around to posting my August-September travels and wanted to start with her majesty, Mount Rainier. Nothing I captured on my phone could possibly do the grandiosity of it justice. This was my first time doing a trip like this completely solo and it absolutely rearranged my brain chemistry; it felt like the attached song in my head the entire time I was there. Did equal parts tourist hikes (slides 1-7) and back country (8-16) and there is simply not a mediocre way to experience this place. Determined to go back to summit it one day.
Finally getting around to making a post for what was the most magical weekend of music and people imaginable. What @griz was able to achieve in a festival’s inaugural year was astounding. Show love. Spread love.
This past weekend I had the unique and profound honor of laying my grandad to rest in a place that holds a monumental amount of sentimental value to us. He, along with my grandma, took me to this serene island just south of the Outer Banks yearly, where I had the privilege of learning about fishing, the outdoors, history, and the world as a whole. We managed to always stay in the same cabin, and I chose the ocean in front of it as the place to allow his ashes to join the Earth. He was a man that never used social media, but sure as hell deserves a memorialization on mine. I wouldn’t be the man I am today or have the intellectual curiosity that I do if it were not for his role in my life. I hope one day that I am half the grandad he was. ❤️
