Hi friends! It’s about time we get more acquainted ʕ•ᴥ•ʔﾉ♡ My name is Plushie and I’m a one woman show that does it all really. From digital art, photography, murals, traditional paintings, educating, vending and content creating. I do all my own stunts! Haha I’m a very passionate and animated being irl. I’m usually playful and dramatic because life is funner that way. I love alternative and cute things so I tend to bounce back and forth between those modes all the time. I’m a proud Latina, I’m queer as fuck and am grateful of the quirky person I’ve grown to be thus far. I have a firm belief that art is a powerful tool that can do great things and representation MATTERS! From sharing stories to teaching and building bridges with folks. I want to be a part of as many great projects as possible. And represent the kind of artist I never really saw as a kid. I’ve always loved toys and creepy cutesy creatures. Because of this you’ll see me represented as a purple franken-bear plushie on all of my work. Like a plush toy, I hope to be that safe space for others to feel they can be themselves and accepted for who they are. Through my scars I’ve come to value that deeply and know how important it is for one’s life to feel seen and heard. So with my work I hope to also do just that 💜 I can go on forever but yea, for now, this is Me 🧸 Insta won’t have enough space for me to translate this in Spanish, but I will be speaking Spanish more and more on here. #flashbackfriday to when me and @kongsavage did one of the funnest and unforgettable projects last October at @lexdeafnyc During our time there we learned so many new signs for animals and colors that I’ll never forget! Working alongside the students painting this was so much fun too. This project has fueled my desire to keep learning ASL and I can’t wait for the day I can do it fluently.
