Important Announcement 📣 We’d like to *officially* welcome Nicky as a member of Underscore Projects Studios!   Nicky Bruun-Meyer (MArch, OAA) is the founder of Plural Projects (@pluralprojects ), a full-service architecture and interior design studio with a focus on creating spaces and experiences for slower, more intentional living. For the past month, she has been setting up her studio and we couldn’t be happier with her pleasant company, great ideas, and her studio design choices!   At Plural Projects, they aim to create spaces that tell the story of their inhabitants, through the patterns of their daily lives, and the juxtaposition of personal objects and unique finds. They embrace a collaborative spirit with their clients, and act as a catalyst for better living. They create real spaces for real people, helping to transform clients’ ideas into spaces that inspire. While their aesthetic is effortless, timeless, and authentic, they’re not afraid to take design risks.   Nicky not only has projects in the neighbourhood, but also lives here and knows all about its great restaurants and shops. Don’t hesitate to say hi if you see her around!   This marks the beginning of our studio spaces being open for mid and long term collaborations. We have another studio that will be available soon.   Since its inception, Underscore Projects has always been about providing creatives with studio spaces where they could collaborate and get inspired. While we’ve had short term studio users, we felt a need of long-term studio members for further connection and collaborations.   Check out Plural Project’s IG for projects, design ideas and inspirational posts. Welcome to our community, Nicky!

Had a client consultation in Kensington Market, so skipped on over to @boxcar_social Laneway for a work session after. Love the tucked away industrial vibes, mixed with greenery, glass block, and analog playlist. ~~~ Toronto coffee shop, entrepreneur, work from home, cafe, analog, Toronto design, interiors, plants

Some lovely feedback from a current client, in the thick of all the decision making! So grateful for the home-owners that come my way, and the team of contractors, trades, and makers that help me make the magic happen. ~~~ Toronto architect designer renovation interiors real estate

With the season of giving upon us, and as we add new items to our wardrobes and homes, think about what you have that can be passed along to others to love and make-use of! Here is a small list of places to donate gently used or in-much need of items, to give in a different way this holidays…
