Designed to fit into an existing recess spanning over three metres, the plantscape features a fully customised faux maple tree, layered ferns, and soft light accents at the base. We opted for moss ground coverings over the usual gravel layer as the homeowner wanted to keep the installation child-friendly.

In this home, we created an entirely faux plantscape beneath the staircase, featuring a statement bonsai, accent lighting and a water feature. The main trunk was carved from real wood, and could be easily mistaken for a live tree. To define the space, we also customised a kerb finished in textured coating.
