Tumbleweed is an abstract object that was created from many other abstract things we had in mind. We wondered what its natural habitat would be like and what challenges it could face. How it would defend against predators and perhaps even become a hunter itself. An endless loop in which the shapes are torn apart and form new shapes again, and all this is shown in the style of an experimental documentary. Um einen Einblick in die Berufspraxis zu erlangen, absolvieren unsere Studierenden nach dem 4. Semester ein mehrwöchiges Praktikum. Damit sie ihre Fähigkeiten im Bereich der 2D und 3D Animation erweitern kann, hat Elena Kaeser ihr Praktikum beim Studio Ploy gemacht. Ploy ist eine designorientierte Produktionsfirma, die sich auf Animation, Motion Design und visuelle Effekte spezialisiert hat. Während den fünf Wochen konnte Elena bei verschiedenen Projekten mitarbeiten und so ihre Kenntnisse in der 3D Gestaltung und Animation vertiefen, neue Programme kennenlernen und Erfahrungen im Umgang mit Kundinnen und Kunden sammeln. @illustrationek @ploy.studio
