WELCOME director Peter Salling! 🎬🙌
As a film director with a degree from 18 Frames, Peter has already made a strong mark with his graduation film ‘Sælhud (Cool Boy)’ — a powerful story about growing up with neglect at home.
The film has been selected for several international festivals, including OFF25, Tirana International Film Festival ’25, and ‘Nordische Filmtage’ in Lübeck, and has received five stars from both Ekko and Soundvenue, who called it “heartbreaking” and “outstanding.”
Peter brings a strong sense of storytelling and a clear visual approach, with a sharp eye for how art direction can elevate a narrative — qualities he also brings into commercial work, most recently directing Dyrup’s latest campaign film.
We’re really excited to have Peter as part of Plotworks and look forward to share what we’ve been working on!

You probably know Maya from her recent documentary series “Natasja - For Altid” premiering on TV2 just a few months ago? Receiving 5 out of 6 stars from Gaffa, among others 👏
Holding a degree in Documentary Directing from the National Film School of Denmark, she utilises her unique ability to get under the skin of people both in front of the camera as well as the viewers. Whether it’s Karen Mukupa or Prince Joachim, she very deliberately creates a safe space, using tactical cinematic tools to give momentum to emotions and narratives. Her energy and drive are clearly contagious - qualities she also brings into commercial formats.

WELCOME director Karim Fakih! 🥳🙌
Karim Fakih is new to the Danish market but has already made a strong mark in Sweden, where he has worked with brands such as IKEA, H&M, and Cartier. Well, actually he has just won the Stockholm International Film Festival’s Nordic Wave and the Nikon Short Film Award, along with a prize of SEK 400,000 for the film Dija (created in just one week 😳🔥).
Karim has a distinctive eye for visual storytelling and a rare authenticity in his films. His films are cinematically dreamlike, yet deeply personal and intimate. It’s almost as if he brings a part of himself into his films. There’s a certain energy.
Make sure you watch his work! His film for the Swedish Peace Society truly shows how he can create an extremely intimate narrative in a fresh way. A very moving film! 👏
