Il Ganzo by Elliot Lunn and Plot Generica 💸 STARTING BID £60 for each plate, £200 for the entire collection (all 4 plates) Elliot Lunn, a designer driven by a passion for design, making, and problem-solving. With expertise in product design and manufacturing, he adopts a multidisciplinary approach to projects. His work reflects a fusion of craftsmanship and digital techniques, crafting tangible solutions that inspire. Plot Generica is a multi-disciplinary art and design practice that surfs between different artistries, from designing speculative sound installations, composing music for art and design experiments, all the way to creating the backbones of products for modern wellbeing. Critical optimism, playfulness and sonic expression are the common denominators of all projects. Il Ganzo is a series of four crafted metal serving plates, thoughtfully designed and hand-pressed in London. This collection is a visual exploration of dining experiences shared with unfamiliar faces. Throughout the meal, we might transition from the initial hesitancy to the delightful state of being ‘ganz*’ - an Italian term representing a blend of cool relaxation and cheeky joy. Each plate symbolises this journey, gradually moving from sharp, angular forms to soft and curvy ones. Adding to this narrative of transformation, our plates bring together the natural coldness and elegance of hand-polished stainless steel, with the graceful and smooth irregularities caused by the pressing of the material. The plates were designed and made in the ganzissima Seven Sisters, London. 🪑 SIT, FEAST ON YOUR LIFE 15 - 21 April @dopo.space

HANDLE (ME) WITH CARE • 2 Project by @soulanoemie This is the first of 8 tracks (“movements”) composed for Noémie’s performance. This one is the very first, opening the performance as the dancers timidly enter the stage, noticing each other’s presence in a cautious, yet relaxed environment. Each movement was composed to reflect the choreography, always merging soothing pianos with distorted alien synths and original recordings of textiles touching each other. The ratio of those sounds, as well as the melodic progression, adapts to the physical interactions between the performers throughout the choreography. DEVIATION GAME • 1 Project by @tomo_kihara + @studioplayfool Honestly, I recommend checking out both Tomo and Playfool’s work… truly brilliant minds, and it was such an honour to be part of this project, creating the sound design and a few original songs for it. Leveraging on the computational knowledge that modern AIs have access to, the artists created the experience to challenge us to find playful ways to deviate from that knowledge. Designed as a multi-player game, the installation asks us to draw a given word and do our best to prevent the AI from understanding what that word is, making our human co-players instead. Tomo and Playfool kicked the project off with an exhibition in Tokyo at @ccb_tokyo and it will be touring soon. Check out more info at viationgame.com Photography: Tada (Yukai)

SIDEKICKS • 2 Probably my favourite of the 4 objects designed to help using our phones less. This one, a projector, is the one designed not to be used alone, and requires 2 phones to work properly. If there’s any distraction while watching something with the projector (Instagram, for example), then the object will stop working and interrupt the projection. If, instead, there’s no interruption throughout a movie, the project will celebrate that by printing a small tangible memorabilia of the (hopefully) nice time spent together, as a personalised cinema ticket.

HANDLE (ME) WITH CARE • 1 Project by @soulanoemie One of my favourite projects ever. Noémie was so great to trust me with the music for this big one. I composed 8 tracks for a contemporary dance performance inspired by the complicated relationship between a person with reduced mobility and their care-givers. The artist was inspired by her own mother, a private nurse, and the process of helping patients getting dressed, and undressed. Noémie created multiple textiles and garments for the performance, and worked with incredible dancers and choreographer in Sheffield to bring her research project to life. Full video of the performance out soon - follow @care.is.a.dance for more updates :) Direction & Editing @soulanoemie Research & Concept

DEVIATION GAME • 2 Project by @tomo_kihara + @studioplayfool For the project, Plot Generica was tasked with 3 parts: the sound design of the game (including button clicks, transitions and so on), the voice of the AI (which is one of the players in the experience), and finally two original songs (one for the pre-game phase, and one for the actual game moments). Here, you can hear some sounds from the first part - interface sounds. I made 16 of them, using some synths and samples that I recorded for a different project with Playfool (more info soon). They also include some recordings of my own voice, altered to sounds a lil more robotic. This selection of interface sounds include the sound for wrong guesses of the drawing, right guesses, the AI scanning a drawing, and both the AI winning and losing against the human players. SIDEKICKS • 1 A little throwback to 2018… This project, in some many ways, paved the way to this day :) Sidekicks is a collection of 4 conceptual objects, designed to help us reduce the amount of phone usage - this was just before Screen Time was launched. Created with the intention of using objects that we are already familiar with, rather then designing completely new accessories, each object was inspired by some of the moments were phone distraction is at its peak: a desk lamp for working, a speaker for leisure time, and alarm clock for the start and end of the day, and a projector, for moments of company. The twist is that none of them has an on/off button, but they can only function if we plug our phone in them. It also means that if we want to get lost on a Instagram scroll, the objects will stop working! Very very grateful for all the help, support and interest during the making of this!
