1 day 20 women 10 facilitators and event staff 8 songs written 3 curated workshops Partnership with local, first generation businesses including restaurant, videography and multimedia, clothing manufacturers, retail shop, recording studio, and music publishing companies Most importantly, all attendees were given access to free counseling and connection to a network of mental health professionals from (you guessed it) community based nonprofit partners. People use community as a descriptor for many things. People even reference network and relationships. This is how it feels to bring personal, creative, community, and professional pursuits together to create a truly responsive ecosystem. On paper, PLN A provides publishing services, label support, and artist development for creatives. In real life, we draw from a lifetime of relationships that could not be bought or taught, in order to empower ourselves and those around us. This women’s writers workshop was the prime example of that. And this is truly the beginning. We’d love to have your support, and to support your work. Shoot us a message.
