Introduciendo el Gabinete Cotidiano, la primera pieza de ¡pling! y actualmente instalado en Inédito con @designweekmex hasta el 11 de enero en @espacio_cdmx .
El Gabinete Cotidiano es una mezcla de materiales cotidianos con madera noble: las puertas y el revestimiento son láminas de policarbonato corrugado y ondulado, comunes en garajes, almacenes y talleres, mientras que la estructura está hecha de tzalam, una madera tropical originaria de Yucatán.
En conjunto, la pieza resultante se convierte en un objeto escultórico que juega con la transparencia, el misterio y la precisión.

Introducing the Gabinete Cotidiano, the debut piece by ¡pling! and currently installed at Inédito with @designweekmex until January 11 at @espacio_cdmx .
The Gabinete Cotidiano is a blend of everyday materials with tropical hardwood: the doors and cladding are corrugated polycarbonate sheets common in garages, warehouses, and workshops, while the structure is made of tzalam, a tropical wood native to Yucatán.
Together, the resulting piece becomes a sculptural object that plays with transparency, mystery, and precision.
I'm very, very, very excited to announce the launch of a new project I've been working on for more than a year now: ¡pling! (@pling_mx ) a design workshop creating furniture that transforms the everyday into something unexpected, mixing practical functionality with material experimentation.
Our first collection, Línea Cotidiano, is launching soon, and our very first piece will debut this week at @designweekmex 's Inédito, an exhibition of utilitarian design pieces and object art which has never before been seen, distributed, or sold.
