Trophy delivery for the 24/25 Pledgeball League champions! 🏆
Massive congratulations to @bristolcitywomensfc . To celebrate, we sat down with captain Vicky Losada for a quickfire chat. We dived into her earliest footballing memories and her vision for the future of football and the environment.

When a former Premier League and international star turns up to play for your charity team, you know it’s going to be a good Friday. 🤯🔥
We still can’t quite believe Adrian Mariappa laced up his boots for Pledgeball FC this afternoon! Absolute legend behavior.
He joined us down at @fgrfc_official ’s New Lawn stadium for the annual Business Sixes tournament, sponsored by @ecotricity . Out of 32 incredible teams of partners and local businesses, we’re pretty sure we walked away with the signing of the summer. 😉💚

Today, we celebrate a true pioneer. For a century, Sir David Attenborough has been the ultimate champion of the natural world, bringing the wonders of our planet into our living rooms and inspiring generations to care for it.
His message has always been clear: the future of humanity and indeed, all life on earth, depends on us.
We know that sport brings people together and has the power to bring about change, so if you want to make a nature-friendly pledge and support your club , head to pledgeball.org now and help protect where we play.
Happy Centenary, Sir David. Thank you for everything.

The power of the collective is football’s greatest superpower. If the giants of the game can make these changes, we can too.

The Atlético Madrid team bus has been spotted in London, having driven roughly 1,700km across Europe just to meet a squad that arrived by plane.
Based on standard travel emission factors, we estimate the expected combined footprint of this journey to be approximately 11 tonnes of CO2e.
To put that into perspective, that impact is roughly equivalent to:
☕ Boiling a kettle 1.5 million times.
🌎 Driving an average petrol car once around the entire world.
Travelling by rail could have potentially reduced these travel emissions by nearly 90%.
As sport increasingly feels the impact of the climate crisis, we have to ask why carbon-intensive travel remains the standard.
The Sustainable Travel Charter, developed by Pledgeball and @wearetheFSA , provides clubs with a clear framework to prioritise low-carbon transport over flying. Get in touch today if your club wants to join the movement and help protect where we play.
A massive congratulations to the @northamptonsaints fans, who pledged an incredible 206,369.79 kgCO₂e of carbon savings at this weekend’s Green Game.
When fans unite, we protect where we play. 🟢⚫🟡
It is Green Game weekend at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens!
This Saturday’s massive clash against Bath is about more than just the 80 minutes on the pitch. We are teaming up with @northamptonsaints to show the incredible power of the supporter community when we pull together for the planet.
@finsmithh , @tommyfreeman15 , @mitchellalex9 , and the boys have all locked in their nature-friendly pledges. Now it is your turn.
The goal? To hit over 300,000 kgCO2e saved, the equivalent of taking 65 cars off the road. To put that fan power into perspective: if a full cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens pledged just to recycle everything they could, it would save emissions equal to taking over 850 cars off the road entirely!
🏆 Get involved and win:
The Signed Shirt: Make ANY eco-friendly pledge via our link before midnight on Saturday, and you will be entered into a random draw to win a signed 2025/26 Saints shirt (crafted from Macron’s Eco Fabric!).
The Matchday Challenge: Heading to the game? Visit the passing cage in the Inclusion Hub. Score 15 points AND make your pledge to enter a second draw to win 4x tickets to the next home match against Bristol Bears!
Let’s back the Saints and protect where we play. Hit the link in our bio to make your official Green Game pledge today.
For the England fans amongst us, it seems like the robots haven’t quite mastered football fashion just yet...
If you are backing the Three Lions this summer and have seen the latest reports on the new 2026 kit, you will know Nike’s AI assisted design has resulted in a rather ‘interesting’ shoulder seam. Unless you are heading to a 1980’s themed night, it might not be the look you were hoping to flex down the pub this summer.
Our solution? Ditch the shoulder pads this World Cup and go for one of these retro gems!
Whether you are an England supporter or backing another nation entirely, classic, pre-loved kits are a great way to wear your colours with pride, and they are miles better for the planet. By choosing vintage over new, you are breaking the cycle of fast-fashion synthetics, saving the massive energy it takes to manufacture a brand-new shirt, and keeping perfectly good kits out of landfill.
Show your colours and help protect where we play

Throwing it back to an incredible day out at Ashton Gate for the League Cup Final! 🏆⚽️
It might have been a few weeks ago, but we are still buzzing from the energy in the fan zone. The absolute best part of the day was getting to speak directly with so many of you, hearing your thoughts on sustainability in football, and watching the pledges roll in! 🌍
It was also brilliant to catch up with familiar faces who are working hard behind the scenes to push our game in the right direction.
