Cultura in the Park is the latest event cancellation to hit Plaza de Cesar Chavez. Dia San Jose previously announced the cancellation of its 2025 event and is planning to return in 2026. We hope that attention will be paid to the costs, amenities and underinvestment in Plaza de Cesar Chavez that makes it costly and financially risky to stage events at the Plaza, particularly amidst the backdrop of current immigration enforcement, which has reduced attendance at some events. @sjparksandrec
