Last days to see Sam Anderson’s brilliant exhibition ‘Network’ at playworkshop.
Considering prototypes, there are no complete narratives but fundamental units of dramatic code: the crime scene, the saint, the television executive emerging from the trash like The Birth of Venus. Within playworkshop, objects invite a provisional network, a test channel where suspension of disbelief hinges on the material plausibility of its components and collaborative imagination.

On Sunday, 18 May, the @fridericianum hosted ‘The Painting Game’ as part of their International Museum Day celebration. ‘The Painting Game’ is a game by @studioadamharrison that invites participants to create collaborative paintings using dialogue, directions, and chance procedures. Around 800 guests from Kassel and abroad came to play the largest version of the game to date, as well as prototypes of the forthcoming tabletop edition published by @playworkshop . Huge thanks to Luise von Nobbe @lumvn , Moritz Wesseler @moritz_wesseler , Larissa Hüttenhein @larissahuettenhein , Lisa Erpel, Christina Linder, and the amazing team at Fridericianum! #thepaintinggame
