We did a @playball camp yesterday at the Little League he grew up at in Tujunga, CA.
This guy has a heart bigger than his 6 foot 6 frame. The guy provided a Taco Truck, Shaved Ice Truck, and asked us to open the registration to as many kids as humanly possible.
He was SO involved. Pitching to kids. ENGAGING with kids. He was CURIOUS and he CARED.
Then a 30 minute Q and A.
Then he stayed an extra 2 hours to sign 300 autographs.
It’s not easy to find a bonafide former MVP who wants to host a camp like this. It’s even harder to find that caliber of a player that has the ability to connect and communicate with the next generation.
I was thoroughly impressed. Atta Boy Coach G! Let’s do it again soon!

⚾️ USA Baseball and @philly_schools co-hosted a Fun At Bat Day of Play at Mayfair School last weekend, helping K-8 students develop fundamental skills while growing their love for the game!
