Sending out a little #MondayMotivation as we enter another work week, grateful for our time shooting custom driving plates for RELAY
Sometimes action is so specific a custom shoot is needed. After we’ve explored our library to see if anything works creatively, we discuss with the client the process of a custom, including shot lists, location, scene duration, and time of day. With all the specifics, we can recommend which rig will check most of the creative boxes, and start mapping out and scheduling the shoot day. We’re there from start to finish, and are available well into post to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible.
For reference, all of the custom plates for RELAY were shot in two days, expertly mapped out and shot to ensure efficiency.

Netflix: The Rip
Matt Damon is the real deal — knows his lines and everyone else’s.
Ben Affleck is a straight cine-nerd. Any free moment, he’s playing with the camera.
Didn’t even clock Kyle Chandler until he spoke to me in the craft-service line —
“Oh shit… Coach Taylor.”
He’s rugged in this one.
Built the LED wall, fired it up, and had Steven Yeun’s kids sprinting in front of it.
Grateful to be part of something at this scale.
Joe and Juanmi set the tone right — hype music up, everyone locked in… action.

We were thrilled to shoot all of the 360 degree array environments; from Miami to New Jersey, we captured driving plates, stunts, and an iconic ocean sunrise. These plates were masterfully projected by @jmlee534 at @beelectricstudio and the entire team at @synapse_vp We watched right when it premiered, and couldn’t be prouder of the results.
