VRIJHAVEN FESTIVAL 💘 PLASTIC PERSOON
Als de zon achter de gebouwen kruipt, kruipen wij de loods in om te stampen op @plasticpersoon : avant-gabber met snoeiharde Nederlandse teksten en hardcoreinvloeden die de loods uit haar voegen doet trillen.
Plastic Persoon is tegen de richting inschoppen, elke minuut van elke dag is vermoeiend. Plastic Persoon is een coping mechanisme. Een real life ad. Een Balenciaga draak. De entertainments lieveling.
‘We schreeuwen allemaal uniek te zijn in synchroon, dus heb ik mezelf maar omgedoopt tot Plastic Persoon’: Bestaande uit Sob (45ACIDBABIES, FFOOSS) en Juna (Grandfather) maakt het duo asociaal luide sounds die een herkenbare frustratie belichaamt voor mensen die verandering willen.

We wilden even zeggen dat we alive & kicking zijn.
De afgelopen maanden stonden in het thema van life-shifts, verhuizingen, nieuwe grote mensen banen en kittens, maar gister aten we pizza en smeedden we SNODE PLASTIC PLANNEN. We gaan niet haasten (behalve als we yoga doen op 4 to the floor 200bpm) maar maken het wel uit met perfectionisme.
Let’s trap recht door die winterderpressie heen ja?
Zoals BREEK het zo mooi had beschreven:
Wij zijn AVANT-GABBER wezen Plastic Persoon en wij zetten uitputting, woede en verzet om in sonische catharsis. Wij confronteren de druk om constant uniek te zijn en leggen identiteit bloot als zowel masker, als strijdtoneel.
