I have encountered a frustration when photographing home. I spent years idealising it, pretending to ignore that the Italy that I left was still alive, and so I would try to submerge to this now imagenery-home ideal. and it slapped me back into reality. What I found was just land and just people, with all of their problems.
So I spent time trying to photograph the shadows of my boyhood, going back to places I knew only to find them still scared from the earthquake by the absence of inhabitants. There was the wind and the stone, nothing else.
So I begun to travel in a car, in a bus, in a train. I had to become time by moving around this new landscape. What I discovered was that from this new perspective I was fast forwarding to contemporary times, updating my brain on all the happenings. I crated a new architecture when approaching this shift, the veichle and the camera became my practice, artificial symbiosis.

No restrictions in terms of age, accomplishments, approach… You can send images from one or more projects but note that they will still be considered individually.
Your credentials or previous accomplishments are irrelevant. Our mission is to give a home to great images whatever the background of the artist is. That being said, we have always encouraged the newcomers. Since the beginning we try our best to spread the work of unknown & emerging (sorry to use this term…) artists!
