A major milestone for PROTEGO!
On Tuesday, May 12, PROTEGO, in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Environment, officially launched the Policy Brief on Policies, Institutional Set-Up and Financing of Marine Litter Prevention in Nigeria.
Bringing together government officials, environmental experts, and development partners, the event opened a critical conversation: how do we move from monitoring marine litter in the Gulf of Guinea to building the institutions, financing mechanisms, and political momentum to stop it?
