Rebecca & Joe at Old Westbury Hebrew Congregation.
There is something quietly validating about being featured on @caratsandcake … even when it’s just a slide in a carousel.
They put together a piece on what couples think costs the most versus what actually does, and my perspective was one they chose to include. That felt good.
But more than that, it’s a reminder of what this work actually is. What feels like one day to a couple is weeks of work behind the scenes. The shooting, the culling, the editing, the color, the story. Every image you receive has been touched more times than you know.
Rebecca and Joe trusted us with that process and I’m grateful. Their day at Old Westbury was stunning in every way.
Congratulations Rebecca & Joe. 🤍

A dramatic bamboo canopy created an intimate, living sanctuary — tall, textural, and deeply architectural.

This past Sunday was one of those weddings that reminds me exactly why I love what I do.
It was especially meaningful to be back with Joseph’s family for the second time. They are quick-witted, endlessly fun, deeply kind, and surrounded by the kind of friends and family who show up loud, proud, and full of heart. And Malki & Phil… true mazinkas. There is nothing more beautiful than watching parents stand back and soak in the joy of having married off all their children, with pride written all over their faces.
Rebecca and Joseph are something special. Gentle, grounded, and completely smitten with one another. Rebecca brought serious energy to the dance floor with killer moves and a contagious joy, while Joseph matched her every step with quiet confidence, steady presence, and a smile that never left his face. Together, they are effortless.
During our session, they leaned into a more editorial vibe while still keeping things playful and true to who they are and they absolutely shined.
None of this magic happens alone. This level of celebration, beauty, and joy is always a team effort. Huge gratitude to the incredible wedding team below. Give them a follow and stay tuned for more from this unforgettable day.

🤍
Some moments are loud.
Some are simply true.
This day was not about perfection
it was about togetherness.
Shared looks.
Quiet nerves.
Hands that held tight.
A celebration that unfolded exactly as it should.
Jerusalem in the background,
Love in the foreground.
Nothing staged.
Nothing forced.
Just people.just feeling.
just the beginning of something real.
