It’s been so long since I’ve done traditional art. This was a fun piece to start with 🥰 The face is inspired by a long time friend Fawnbun and the rest is my own ❤️ While I always strive to develop my own style, I love creating pieces inspired by friends because it’s just my way of celebrating how much I love them and their art. Have you ever cried while writing a character’s backstory?
When I created Sena in 2017, I knew she was going to be someone special to me. I gave her pieces of my own personality — maybe even more, like imagining who I might have been if I were born on the Moon, watching my people disappear in real time.
Over the past nine years, Sena has become a deeply complex character. Rejected by her own people as an anomaly, she still carries the determination to preserve what remains of them.
So she travels to Earth in search of answers… and maybe even a little self-love. 🌙
