⚡️SoCo Electro is back on the 26th May! 6-8pm at IO (just up from @planetsounds - beats, buzzes, breaks, bloops and of course, bass. We’ve got some great kit: drum machines, synths, FX units, theremins, sequencers… and you’ve probably got fingers and ears - come and play, and if you’ve git kit you want to plug in, bring that! We’ll most likely have the kettle on and @salvagematt will buy some biscuits 🤘 All abilities welcome - and it’s FREE!

@socomusic Project has expanded its @planetsounds studio with EVO SP8, giving young producers and emerging artists more flexibility, cleaner recordings and a workflow built for live sessions, drums and full band projects.
According to Lead Studio Engineer Lou Sawdy, the results are already “sounding huge.”

EMERGE Festival 2026 was an incredible showcase of the young talent in the city - and a great opportunity for young people to come together at our vibrant music space @planetsounds in the centre of Southampton.
